Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Excellent communication with public and staff
- Strong customer service experience
- Positive and pleasant attitude
- Ability to prioritize daily tasks to maximize efficiency and patient experience
- Ability to multitask and function in stressful situations
- Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions in English
- Complete in-house training for biohazardous items and CPR within 90 days of hire
- Compliance with code of conduct, respect in workplace, and applicable policies and procedures
- Must be able to perform essential functions of position with or without accommodation

Job Duties
- Transport patients using wheelchairs, stretchers, hospital beds, and morgue carts to various locations
- Transfer patients to and from stretchers, hospital beds, exam tables, and wheelchairs using transportation-assist devices
- Transport medical equipment, mail, labs, blood products, and supplies within the facility
- Operate elevators for patient and equipment movement and relieve elevator attendants
- Clean and disinfect transportation medical equipment including stretchers, wheelchairs, morgue carts, and related devices
- Follow all instructions and safety protocols including use of personal protective equipment
- Perform other duties as assigned
