- experience in safely transporting patients and medical items preferred
Job Duties
- Transport patients using wheelchair, stretcher, hospital bed, and morgue cart to various hospital locations
- transfer patients to and from stretchers, beds, exam tables, and wheelchairs using assistive devices
- transport medical equipment, mail, labs, blood products, and supplies within the hospital
- operate elevators for patient and equipment movement and cover elevator attendants during breaks
- clean and disinfect transportation equipment including stretchers, wheelchairs, morgue carts, Hovermatts, and utility carts
- follow all safety and infection control protocols
- perform other duties as assigned
