Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- current state or province issued driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
- at least one year work experience as a courier or driver
- ability to work schedule to support business needs including weekends and nights
- ability to work on-call weekends, nights, and holidays rotation
- ability to lift up to 75 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally
- ability to push or pull up to 200 pounds
- ability to drive in hazardous, heavy traffic, and weather conditions
- basic computer skills
- professional appearance and business suit when in contact with families
- casual attire for vehicle maintenance
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Safely drive company owned vehicles to perform first call transfers of deceased in compliance with laws and company policies
- cooperate with first responders, coroner, hospital staff, and senior living facilities to follow their processes
- interact professionally and courteously with bereaved families during home transfers while maintaining sensitivity and minimizing conversation
- follow company procedures for chain-of-custody, paperwork, and deceased identification
- enter deceased event information into proprietary software according to procedures
- transport caskets to airports, care centers, or funeral homes and assist with moving caskets
- wash, vacuum, and clean company vehicles ensuring they are presentable
- fuel vehicles as necessary and follow safety guidelines
- maintain personal protective and transfer supplies in vehicles
- identify and report vehicle engine or operating issues to management and drive vehicles for repair or inspection
