Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current state/province issued driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- At least one year work experience as a courier or driver with direct customer interaction strongly preferred
- Ability to work schedule to support business needs including weekends and nights
- Ability to work on-call weekends, nights, and holidays rotation
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally
- Ability to drive in hazardous, heavy traffic, and weather conditions
- Basic computer skills
- Maintain professional appearance with business suit when in contact with families
- Ability to comply with field dress code policy
- Willingness to work beyond standard hours as the need arises
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors throughout all seasons and weather conditions
- Frequent standing up to 6 hours, climbing stairs, and manual dexterity required
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Safely drive company owned professional vehicles to perform first call transfer of deceased in accordance with local and state/provincial laws and company policies and procedures
- Follow processes for chain-of-custody, paperwork, and deceased identification
- Cooperate with first responders, Coroner, hospital staff, or Senior Living facility and accommodate their processes and procedures
- Curtely and professionally interact with bereaved family members during home transfers while exhibiting sensitivity and minimizing conversation
- Transfer soiled garments, bedding, or other materials according to company procedures
- Enter deceased event information into proprietary software according to company procedures
- Transport caskets to airports, care centers, or funeral homes and assist with moving caskets
- Wash, vacuum, and clean vehicles to ensure they are presentable
- Fuel vehicles as necessary
- Follow safety guidelines and expenditure processes
- Maintain personal protective and transfer supplies in vehicles including cleaning products
- Identify vehicle engine or operating issues to management and drive vehicles for repair or inspection
