Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current state/province issued driver’s license with acceptable driving record
- One year of experience as a courier or driver with customer interaction preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends, nights, and holidays
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally
- Ability to push or pull up to 200 pounds
- Ability to drive in hazardous and heavy traffic conditions
- Basic computer literacy
- Commitment to professional appearance and compliance with field dress code policy
Job Qualifications

- At least one year work experience as a courier or driver with direct customer interaction preferred
- Ability to work schedule supporting business needs including weekends and nights
- Ability to drive in hazardous, heavy traffic, and weather conditions
- Basic computer skills
Job Duties
- Safely drives company owned vehicles to perform first call transfer of deceased in compliance with laws and company policies
- Cooperates with first responders, Coroner, hospital staff, or Senior Living facility and accommodates their processes
- Courteously and professionally interacts with bereaved family members during home transfers exhibiting sensitivity and minimizing conversation
- Follows procedures for chain-of-custody, paperwork, deceased identification, and transferring soiled garments and materials
- Enters deceased event information accurately into proprietary software
- Transports caskets to airports, care centers, or funeral homes and assists with moving caskets
- Washes, vacuums, and cleans vehicles ensuring they are presentable
- Fuels vehicles as necessary and follows safety guidelines
- Maintains personal protective and transfer supplies in vehicles
- Identifies vehicle engine or operating issues to management and drives vehicles for repair or inspection
