Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum of three years of relevant instructional experience
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint and other training tools
  • ability to handle occasional physical lifting up to 20 pounds
  • willingness and ability to travel overnight as required
  • ability to adhere to workplace safety guidelines

Job Qualifications

  • Three years of experience as a facilitator, instructor, or trainer
  • practical knowledge of various training methods, techniques, and tools
  • ability to manage diverse classroom situations
  • capable of independently planning and conducting training sessions
  • experience in developing management and supervisory curricula preferred
  • proficient computer skills, including working knowledge of PowerPoint
  • ability to lift up to 20 pounds occasionally
  • willingness to travel overnight on occasion

Job Duties

  • Serve as an instructor delivering training programs in the employee development section
  • assist in designing new courses and revising current curricula
  • develop performance measures to improve training effectiveness
  • prepare course materials including study guides, visual aids, simulations, written tests, and course outlines
  • organize and adapt instructional materials to motivate employees
  • coordinate training programs with other MCCS personnel
  • participate in special projects such as pilot programs, process improvement teams, and focus groups
  • provide world-class customer service emphasizing courtesy
  • assist customers and communicate positively
  • quickly resolve problems and escalate when necessary
  • adhere to safety regulations and report hazards or injuries promptly
  • support EEO principles and sexual harassment prevention
  • perform other related duties as assigned
