Job Requirements
- Associate or bachelor's degree preferred
- Minimum of two years direct experience in a psychiatric or mental health setting
- CPR and CPI Instructor certification
- Active and current CPT required
- Knowledge of crisis intervention techniques, restraint and seclusion
- Knowledge of phlebotomy and EKG processes
- Ability to work occasional weekends and/or other hours to conduct training
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to prepare and present training events as directed
- Adherence to facility, departmental, and corporate policies and procedures
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Responsible for teaching Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) and CPR (American Heart Association) classes
- Responsible for teaching verbal de-escalation
- Coordinate, schedule, and organize employee training sessions, workshops, and continuing education programs
- Support training plans, competency assessments, and department-specific education
- Assist with onboarding and orientation for new hires
- Work closely with CNO, ACNO, Nursing Educator, and HR Director to review education and training needs
- Ensure education files comply with UHS, state, federal, and accreditation requirements
