Job Requirements
- U.S. citizenship
- current secret security clearance or ability to obtain secret clearance
- eight plus years of relevant military experience
- bachelor’s degree
- basic understanding of security system monitoring principles and techniques
- effective communication skills
- ability to work onsite at Fort Bragg, NC
- availability for occasional travel less than 10 percent
- flexibility to work varied shifts including nights or weekends as required
- willingness to participate in the GDIT Professional Development and Certification Program
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- eight plus years of related military experience
- basic knowledge of principles, methods, and techniques used in alarm monitoring procedures
- basic knowledge of relevant technology or subject matter
- demonstrated effective communication skills
- current secret clearance
- ability to plan, coordinate, and deliver training programs
- skills in training needs assessment and training plan development
- leadership and mentoring capabilities
Job Duties
- Prepares and delivers Mission Command training based on event and exercise plans
- plans, coordinates, and executes collective Mission Command training
- assists unit leadership in planning individual and collective training and identifying any gaps
- updates training support packages and products
- maintains a comprehensive repository of relevant tactics, techniques, and procedures
- supports unit commander’s training objectives by developing training materials such as curriculum, lectures, and computer-based aids
- participates in planning meetings and coordinates training logistics
- integrates live, virtual, constructive, command and control capabilities within training environments
- provides over the shoulder training, integration, and simulation stimulation support in multiple functional areas
- maintains basic and subject matter expert certification
- participates in special projects and performs additional duties as required
- may lead planning or operational workgroups and mentor customer personnel
