Job Requirements

  • Some experience in logistics or related fields preferred but not required

Job Qualifications

  • Willingness to learn customs brokerage
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Willingness to become a Certified Customs Specialist (NCBFAA) designation holder

Job Duties

  • Follow requirements in client-specific SOPs
  • Maintain and update SOPs based on management guidance
  • Monitor individual and team work performance
  • Manage all accountable client shipments from start to finish
  • Research and resolve shipment errors, KPI inaccuracies, and delays
  • Serve as a point of contact for clients and provide exceptional customer service
  • Participate in client and internal calls and meetings
  • Implement and actively onboard new clients
  • Engage in professional development and learning
  • Ensure compliance with regulations, tariffs, trade agreements, and import/export restrictions
  • Prepare and submit accurate customs entries and documentation
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders including government agencies and customs officials
