Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Some college or vocational training preferred
- Minimum of six months experience in guest service, sales, or food and beverage service
- Must be able and willing to work any shift including weekends and holidays
- Knowledge of safety protocols and ability to report concerns promptly
- Understanding of foodborne illness prevention and health regulations
- Proven ability to interact effectively with guests, management, and teammates under pressure
- Skilled in handling and resolving escalated guest concerns
- Detail-oriented with adaptability
- Effective communication skills in fluent English
- Maintain a professional, neat, and well-groomed appearance
- Good physical condition to perform manual tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds
- Willingness to travel 75% of the time
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Assist guests in locating their seats and escort them as appropriate
- Provide assistance with guest baggage as needed
- Provide food and beverage service to guests throughout the train using strategic selling techniques
- Prepare and serve hot and cold beverages and snacks adhering to company standards
- Serve alcoholic beverages following company established standards including verifying proper identification
- Handle and resolve escalated guest concerns professionally
- Pay close attention to guests with special needs and assist accordingly
- Ensure guests receive assistance and information during service disruptions
- Assist onboard team with communication systems to confirm train readiness
- Maintain communication with the onboard team and leadership throughout the shift
- Deliver public address announcements providing friendly journey information
- Coordinate with ancillary team and leadership on marketing efforts
- Monitor company communication channels to stay updated
- Ensure all onboard activities comply with safety and quality standards
- Report safety concerns immediately
- Follow company protocols in emergency situations
- Inspect service areas for sanitation compliance
- Process credit card transactions using mobile point of sale device
- Receive and inspect food and beverage carts against inventory
- Monitor onboard inventory levels and advise supervisor
- Assist in training new train attendants
- Provide light cleaning and resetting of the train at turnaround and terminals
