Job Requirements
- must be at least 21 years of age upon completion of classroom training
- successfully complete a customer service aptitude test
- successfully complete drug screening and pre-employment medical exam
- must be able to lift heavy items
- must be able to work while standing for long periods
- must be able to work a variety of hours and days off, including up to eight days away from home crew base
- demonstrate a friendly, outgoing, and courteous disposition
- must wear company-provided uniform and comply with grooming policies
- must have a high school diploma or GED
Job Qualifications
- food and beverage handling experience
- cash handling and customer contact experience
- experience in housekeeping
- must be at least 21 years of age upon completion of classroom training

- some college education or food service/transportation-related training preferred
- excellent verbal and written communication skills
Job Duties
- ensure a safe, comfortable, and pleasant journey for coach and sleeping car passengers
- keep assigned train cars clean throughout the trip, including restrooms
- offer first-class amenities in sleeping cars such as making beds and changing linen
- assist elderly and disabled passengers during boarding and detraining
- assist passengers with baggage handling
- load and unload supplies while maintaining inventory
- perform dining car service and side work as directed by the Lead Service Attendant
