Job Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age upon completion of training
 - Successfully complete customer service aptitude test
 - Successfully complete drug screening and pre-employment medical exam
 - Ability to work flexible hours and days off including up to eight days away from home crew base
 - Must wear company uniform and comply with grooming policies
 
Job Qualifications
- Food and beverage handling experience
 - Cash handling experience
 - Customer contact experience
 - Experience in housekeeping
 - Excellent verbal and written communication skills
 - Friendly, outgoing, and courteous disposition
 - Ability to lift heavy items
 - Ability to stand for long periods
 - High school diploma or GED
 - Some college or transportation-related training preferred
 
Job Duties
- Ensure a safe and comfortable journey for passengers
 - Maintain cleanliness of assigned train cars and restrooms
 - Provide first-class amenities in sleeping cars including making beds and changing linens
 - Assist elderly and disabled passengers with boarding and detraining
 - Load and unload supplies and maintain inventory
 - Perform dining car service and side work as directed
 - Work flexible schedules including weekends, holidays, and extended trips away from home base
