Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • experience in a senior living setting is preferred
  • ability to relate professionally, positively, and cooperatively with residents, resident's families, and employees
  • advanced computer skills, including email use

Job Duties

  • prepare and serve food and meals in accordance with planned menus, diet plans, recipes, portions, and temperature control procedures
  • direct and assist in cleaning and sanitizing work areas, equipment and floors, dishes, and utensils
  • check all trays for menu and diet requirements and preference and accuracy
  • ensure proper storage for food and supplies
  • review and process diet changes and ensure menus are maintained and followed in accordance with established procedures
