Job Requirements
- Current valid state issued driver’s license at time of hire with clean driving record
- ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 100 pounds
- ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- ability to drive a manual transmission vehicle
- willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- availability for part-time day shifts from 9am to 5pm
- ability to follow HIPAA regulations
- good communication and interpersonal skills
- high school diploma or equivalent
Job Qualifications

- experience in traffic or parking services preferred
- ability to develop rapport with diverse patients and visitors
Job Duties
- Directs and assists patients and visitors as they enter and exit the hospital parking areas
- assists patients with mobility challenges using wheelchair assistance or golf cart escorts
- updates wayfinding signage and provides directions to patients
- assists patients with access to public transportation and ridesharing services
- parks and retrieves patient vehicles safely and professionally
- performs simple repairs to parking control equipment and minor vehicle repairs
- coordinates with Parking Services and Security to enforce parking rules
- assists in emergency situations directing emergency vehicles and traffic control
- maintains traffic congestion metrics for planning
- directs self-parking visitors during peak times
- facilitates traffic flow in parking areas and on campus roads
- investigates and reports parking accidents, educating patrons
- ensures a clean and safe environment including snow and debris removal
- transports patients via shuttle or golf cart to other health buildings
- participates in process improvement for parking and traffic models
- liaises with security and emergency management to ensure safe emergency egress
