Job Requirements
- Current valid state issued driver’s license at time of hire with no moving violations in the preceding two years
- Ability to drive a manual transmission vehicle preferred
- Ability to display active listening and verbalize empathy
- Ability to quickly learn new procedures and processes
- Able to prioritize and multi-task in a fast paced environment
- Ability to develop relationships with patients, guests, and coworkers
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient information is guarded and respected
- Must be able to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 100 pounds
- Must be able to stand or walk for long periods
- Must be able to work outdoors in various weather conditions

Job Duties
- Directs and assists patients and visitors as they enter and exit the hospital parking areas and lobby
- Assists patients with mobility challenges using wheelchair assistance or golf cart escorts
- Updates wayfinding signage and assists patients with directions to and from clinic visits
- Assists patients with access to public transportation, taxi, and ridesharing services
- Parks and retrieves patient vehicles safely and professionally
- Performs simple repairs to parking control equipment and assists with minor vehicle repairs
- Coordinates with Parking Services and Security for parking enforcement and traffic control
- Assists in emergency situations by directing emergency vehicles and managing traffic
- Maintains a clean and safe environment at hospital entrances and patient terraces
- Uses shuttle or golf cart to transfer patients between health sciences buildings
- Participates in process improvement for traffic control and parking models
- Acts as a liaison with Security, Campus Police, Emergency Management, and Facilities for emergency access and safety
