Job Description

I-77 Mobility Partners LLC is a dynamic company responsible for the financing, development, design, construction, operation, and maintenance of the 26-mile I-77 Express project. This project is executed as part of a public-private partnership with the North Carolina Department of Transportation. The toll lanes, known as express lanes, run parallel to the general-purpose lanes of I-77, connecting uptown Charlotte with Mooresville. I-77 Mobility Partners oversees not only the express lanes but also the general-purpose lanes and all right of way within the project corridor's limits, ensuring seamless integration and efficient traffic management throughout the stretch.

Job Requirements

  • Associate degree from an accredited college or university preferred in related transportation or technical field, directly relative experience in a TMC environment, 0-3 years of experience required in transportation, public safety, or commercial operations environment, ability to multitask, problem solve, and implement innovative processes, ability to coordinate real-time activities and initiate priorities, proficiency in computer skills especially Microsoft Office, willingness to work alternate schedules including weekends and night shifts, effective communication skills, ability to sit or walk for extended periods, ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally

Job Qualifications

  • Associate degree from an accredited college or university preferred, 0-3 years of experience in a transportation or similar environment, effective multitasking and problem-solving skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office and PC programs, ability to interact in a self-managed team structure, good teamwork skills and active working attitude

Job Duties

  • Serve as the point of contact for third parties requiring assistance on the I-77 Express Lanes Project, monitoring CCTV from within the Traffic Management Center and dispatching support personnel, refer calls concerning customer comments and/or complaints to the Corporate Affairs Department, assist to process and input data into the maintenance management system and generate monthly and quarterly reports, maintain an accurate record of events and log data, assist in the efficient transfer of data, activities, and schedules, prepare routine and complex correspondence including letters, memoranda, and reports
