NTE, NTE 35W, and LBJ are significant transportation infrastructure projects managed and operated by a consortium led by Cintra in North Texas. These projects represent some of the most advanced and large-scale public-private partnerships (P3) in the state, designed to enhance mobility and reduce congestion across critical highway corridors connecting Dallas and Fort Worth. Job Requirements
- Associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
- Minimum three years experience in transportation, traffic management, incidence response or similar commercial operations
- Knowledge of geographic areas including LBJ I-635, I-183, 35W and I-820 a plus
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to read maps and charts
- Must be punctual and adhere to scheduling
- Willingness to work rotating shifts including nights and weekends
- Strong multitasking and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to follow procedures and take direction
- Ability to coordinate real-time activities
- Maintain professional relationships
- Demonstrate teamwork
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and typing
- Ability to work alternate schedules and on-call 24 hours
- Able to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally
- Good vision for computer use
- Ability to talk, hear, stand, walk and sit frequently

Job Qualifications
- Associate's or bachelor's degree strongly preferred or at least three years of professional experience in transportation, traffic management, incident response, radio dispatch, or similar commercial operations
- Familiarity with Dallas LBJ I-635, Mid-Cities Region I-183, Fort Worth 35W and I-820 geography preferred
- Strong communication skills with motorists and a positive, helpful attitude
- Ability to read maps and charts
- Punctual and adheres to scheduling
- Flexible with shift rotations including nights and weekends
- Able to multitask, problem solve, and remain calm under pressure
- Ability to follow detailed procedures and take direction
- Capable of coordinating real-time activities and priorities

Job Duties
- Utilizes DYNAC Advanced Traffic Management System software for real-time traffic monitoring
- Uses CCTV cameras and other data sources like Waze to detect, verify, and coordinate response to traffic events such as accidents, congestion, and spills
- Monitors and adjusts toll rate sign displays based on traffic conditions following established guidelines
- Communicates with incident responders, field personnel, the public, and agencies via telephone or radio about road hazards and obstructions
- Sends detailed traffic advisory emails with accident details including severity, lanes affected, and traffic impact
- Activates and updates dynamic message signs to inform motorists about traffic events, backups, delays, alternative routes, and alerts
- Detects and reports field device failures to ITS Maintenance staff for prompt resolution
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned
