Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- availability to work business hours and nights/weekends when on-call
- ability to lift 50 pounds
- ability to stand for long periods
- ability to pass drug test excluding THC
- at least 18 years old
- basic math skills
- effective English communication
- outdoor work tolerance
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
Job Qualifications
- basic knowledge of MUTCD
- ability to communicate effectively in English both written and verbal
- proficient in traffic control setup
- must have valid driver’s license for a minimum of 3 years
- comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for 6 to 12 hours daily
- ability to pass a drug test excluding THC marijuana testing
- ability to work independently and within a team
- must be at least 18 years of age
- basic math skills
- ability to maintain a positive work environment
- high school diploma or equivalent
- must be insurable through company’s insurance policy
- preferred candidate must score 70 percent or better on pre-employment testing
Job Duties
- setting up road closures using cones and barricades
- managing two-way flagging to control traffic flow in work zones
- loading and unloading trucks with traffic control equipment
- picking up and maintaining barricades, signs, and other equipment
- completing reports and documentation related to traffic control assignments
- communicating effectively with coworkers, supervisors, and the public to ensure safety
- working independently and in team settings to meet job demands
