Job Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year driving experience or comparable driving experience (TMA, box truck, construction hauling etc.)
- Able to read/interpret blueprints preferred
- OSHA 10/30 a plus
- Valid state driver’s license
- Must be able to pass pre-employment screening for this safety sensitive position, including a drug test
- Must be able to lift 60 pounds and stand 8-12 hours daily
- Work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Must wear steel/composite toe boots
- Exposure to traffic, construction sites, dust, asphalt, and loud noise
- Ability to perform physical labor including lifting, pushing, pulling and carrying objects
Job Qualifications
- 1-2+ years of experience preferred in an outdoor safety-focused environment such as military, construction, utilities, road maintenance, heavy equipment or skilled operators
- Experience leading small crews, enforcing safety rules, and interacting with customers OR 1-2+ years traffic control experience or ATSSA certificate
- TCT/TCS certification preferred but not required at time of hire

Job Duties
- Lead a small crew in planning and executing daily traffic control operations
- Communicate clearly with your team to ensure safe and efficient work zones
- Set up, maintain, and remove traffic control devices, while monitoring work zones to ensure safe traffic flow and proper placement of lane closures
- Inspect work zone to confirm proper placement of signs, barricades, and other traffic control devices to comply with state regulations
- Provide outstanding service and protection to customers and public
- Protect the company’s employees, customers, and assets against losses, injuries, and accidents through enforcement of safe work practices
- Become a subject matter expert in work zone setup/design and professional flagging
- Other duties as assigned
