Job Requirements

  • Must have a high school diploma or GED
  • at least two years verifiable contract security, military, or law enforcement experience
  • valid North Carolina Security License
  • must have superior oral and written communication skills
  • excellent interpersonal, customer service and conflict resolution abilities
  • strong leadership and team mentoring skills
  • competent in basic MS Office applications and email
  • technically adept with automated processes
  • highly organized, resourceful, detail oriented and results driven
  • adaptability to fast-paced and changing environments
  • strong time management, problem solving and decision-making skills
  • high level of honesty, integrity and professionalism

Job Qualifications

  • Must be at least 21 years of age or older
  • able to provide proof of ability to work in the United States
  • valid driver’s license and clean driving record necessary for some positions
  • able to meet and maintain any applicable state, county, and municipal licensing and permit requirements for Aviation Traffic Control Officers
  • able to work rotating shift schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

  • Provide daily direction and communication to Traffic Control officers
  • schedule and control resources and work arrangements to ensure efficient and effective operations
  • guide, coordinate, and control activities and work practices of the team to maximize performance
  • monitor and adjust resources to address demand fluctuations
  • coach Traffic Control Team on strategies to professionally respond to passenger needs
  • ensure adherence to post orders and standard operating procedures
  • implement and reinforce workplace safety initiatives
  • conduct inspections of designated posts and provide documentation
  • provide site-specific training to new officers
  • maintain and inspect equipment and supplies
  • report all incidents, accidents, or medical emergencies
  • assist in emergency response activities
  • support Administrative Manager with daily shift reports and coordinating work plans
