Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Three to five years of relevant experience preferred
- Valid driver's license without suspension or revocation
- Must have open availability
- Ability to stand for 8-12 hours and lift 80 pounds repetitively
- Excellent verbal and nonverbal communication skills
- Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Office products
- Ability to follow safe work practices and safety guidelines
- Competent in working around high volume, fast-moving traffic

- FDOT Advance Temporary Traffic Control
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience preferred
- Valid driver's license without suspension or revocation
- Must have open availability
- Ability to stand for 8-12 hours and lift 80 pounds repetitively using proper lifting techniques
- Excellent verbal and nonverbal communication skills
- Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Office products
- Ability to follow safe work practices and company safety guidelines
- Competency in working around high volume, fast-moving traffic
Job Duties
- Set up and maintain channelizing devices and other traffic control equipment according to federal, state, and/or local temporary traffic control guidelines and plans
- Coordinate and communicate work activity for onsite MOT personnel including protectors (flaggers), TMA drivers, and pilot car operators by providing breaks and overall management of work zone operations
- Coordinate and communicate effectively with customers while maintaining a professional approach to meet customer expectations
- Drive company vehicles to transport equipment, trailers, and team members safely, efficiently, and timely, including pulling lightweight trailered equipment
- Follow all company safety procedures and notify supervisors of any potential safety issues or incidents
- Provide on-the-job training, coaching, and mentoring to protectors and obtain all MOT-required training within established time frames
- Complete all required project documentation including pre-job safety briefings, daily ticket control logs, traffic control inspections, and vehicle inspections
- Perform other duties as assigned
