Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One to three years of traffic control work experience
  • ATSSA Flagger certification
  • Clear current state driver’s license
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and meet physical job demands
  • Willingness to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and overtime
  • Availability to travel 100 percent within the Miami, FL area
  • Ability to comply with DOT drug and alcohol testing regulations
  • Ability to work in extreme weather conditions
  • Strong commitment to safety practices

Job Qualifications

  • One to three years of traffic control work experience
  • ATSSA Flagger certification
  • Ability to lead and manage a small crew
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to conduct safety meetings
  • Knowledge of federal, state, local, and company laws and regulations related to traffic control
  • Clear current state driver’s license
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions

Job Duties

  • Lead a crew of 2 to 4 team members to set up traffic control
  • Set up construction work zones
  • Operate company trucks and use miscellaneous hand tools
  • Load and unload equipment
  • Conduct routine equipment maintenance and daily equipment inspections
  • Complete daily logs
  • Communicate problems effectively
  • Conduct daily safety meetings and ensure compliance with safety rules and procedures
  • Travel to worksites throughout the Miami, FL area
