Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One to three years of traffic control work experience
- ATSSA Flagger certification
- Clear current state driver’s license
- Ability to stand for extended periods and meet physical job demands
- Willingness to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and overtime
- Availability to travel 100 percent within the Miami, FL area
- Ability to comply with DOT drug and alcohol testing regulations
- Ability to work in extreme weather conditions
- Strong commitment to safety practices
Job Qualifications
- One to three years of traffic control work experience
- ATSSA Flagger certification
- Ability to lead and manage a small crew
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to conduct safety meetings
- Knowledge of federal, state, local, and company laws and regulations related to traffic control
- Clear current state driver’s license
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
Job Duties
- Lead a crew of 2 to 4 team members to set up traffic control
- Set up construction work zones
- Operate company trucks and use miscellaneous hand tools
- Load and unload equipment
- Conduct routine equipment maintenance and daily equipment inspections
- Complete daily logs
- Communicate problems effectively
- Conduct daily safety meetings and ensure compliance with safety rules and procedures
- Travel to worksites throughout the Miami, FL area
