Job Requirements

  • Ability and willingness to work in outdoor environmental elements such as heat, wind, snow, rain
  • Must be able to stand, sit or walk for an extended period of time/entire work shift
  • Requires standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening
  • Ability to work in a standing position hour at a time
  • Must possess strong communication skills and guest service while maintaining a professional demeanor
  • Must be flexible to work all shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Minimum of 1 year customer service experience
  • Ability to work well with others

  • Ability to maintain a patient, calm and pleasant demeanor in hectic, challenging circumstances
  • Ability to multi-task and assess and adjust priorities with multiple guests

Job Duties

  • Serve as a guest service liaison to manage traffic flow of guests and transport groups/charters to designated docking area
  • Direct incoming guests to available parking spaces and answer guest questions about parking, vessel information, cruises and more
  • Control traffic at entrances and exits as needed
  • Assist in guiding vehicular or pedestrian traffic, regulating the movement and flow of vehicles to avoid traffic congestion
  • Resolve guest problems within the scope of authority, otherwise refer to the supervisor/manager on duty
  • Ensure guests are operating their vehicles safely and responsibly in accordance with traffic laws while directing traffic flow
  • Communicate to guest professionally when problems arise
  • Load and unload guests at bus zone who are actively cruising
  • Direct bus drivers to recommended parking
  • Direct/guide guests from bus zone to the vessels
  • Assist ticket booth with the execution of guests
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned
