Job Duties
- Provide personalized and attentive service to meet all guest needs including delivery of coffee and tea on request
- Prepare arrival notes for new guests to communicate important preferences to hotel operations
- Coordinate and verify room keys and ensure each detail meets guest expectations
- Escort early arrivals in coordination with front desk
- Be present at guest check-in to anticipate guest needs
- Complete butler flags entered in local systems by reservations, sales, and other departments
- Send pre-arrival emails and coordinate escorting VIP guests to their rooms
- Collaborate closely with guest services and engineering departments to address requests
- Collect and track guest laundry requests ensuring timely delivery and return
- Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe working conditions to management
- Follow all company policies and procedures
- Maintain personal grooming and professional appearance
- Uphold confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets
- Welcome and recognize all guests according to company standards
- Anticipate and meet guest service needs including assisting persons with disabilities
- Communicate clearly and professionally with colleagues and guests
- Prepare and review accurate and complete written documents
- Answer telephone calls with appropriate etiquette
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships
- Support team efforts to achieve common goals
- Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards
- Move, lift, transport, push, pull, and place objects up to 25 pounds without assistance
- Stand, sit, or walk for prolonged periods or full work shifts
- Perform other reasonable job duties as assigned by supervisors
