Job Requirements

  • At least 16 years of age with parental or guardian permission if under 18
  • Previous server experience highly preferred
  • Experience in long term care, home care, or related field preferred
  • Experience using POS (point-of-sale) transactional systems
  • Effective English verbal and written communication skills
  • Must pass background check and pre-employment drug screen
  • May need to complete additional pre-employment screenings such as physical, fingerprint, and TB test as required by state/local guidelines

  • Previous server experience highly preferred
  • Experience in long term care, home care, or related field preferred
  • Proficient with POS (point-of-sale) transactional systems
  • Effective English verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to assist residents with respect and patience

Job Duties

  • Assist residents with meal selection, including ordering from menu and buffet item selection
  • Present menu to residents, answer questions and make suggestions, record orders and relay to kitchen
  • Work efficiently and deliver food promptly to residents, assisting as needed
  • Clear, clean, and reset tables for next meal service
  • Assist with light back-of-house/kitchen duties, such as salad bar, soup service, portion desserts, and brew coffee
  • Observe residents to ensure safety in dining areas
  • Perform other duties as assigned
