Job Requirements

  • Associate's degree or higher preferably in marketing, hospitality management, or communications
  • 10+ years of event planning experience
  • experience managing Tier 1 conferences, large client events, or high-level internal meetings
  • proven ability to project manage multiple events simultaneously
  • experience negotiating with venues, AV vendors, or event partners
  • proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management software
  • strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • ability to communicate effectively across all levels of personnel
  • excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • strong problem-solving skills
  • ability to work independently
  • ability to travel 4-9 times annually
  • ability to lift 20 lbs

Job Qualifications

  • Associate's degree or higher preferably in Marketing, Hospitality Management, or Communications
  • 10+ years of event planning experience
  • experience managing Tier 1 conferences, large client events, or high-level internal meetings
  • proficiency in project management software such as Asana or ClickUp
  • strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • ability to interface effectively with cross-functional teams including executives
  • excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • strong problem-solving skills
  • ability to work independently and demonstrate self-motivation
  • ability to travel 4-9 times per year
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • experience in B2B industries such as environmental services or consulting
  • experience with CRM systems like Salesforce
  • familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud
  • experience training or mentoring junior event professionals
  • experience with event management platforms or exhibitor portals

Job Duties

  • Leading end-to-end project management for assigned conferences and client events
  • serving as the primary events partner for assigned business lines
  • leading Tier 1 client events from concept through execution
  • supporting project management for high-level internal events
  • collaborating with stakeholders to develop event collateral ensuring brand alignment
  • managing approved event budgets and vendor performance
  • supporting Salesforce campaign tracking and reporting
  • onboarding and training new team members on event best practices
  • staying up-to-date on industry trends and best practices
  • performing other duties as assigned
