Job Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree
  • Ideally one year of experience in corporate or association event management and trade shows
  • Ability to travel approximately 20 percent of the time
  • Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift/move objects up to 25 pounds
  • Fluent written and oral communication in English
  • Authorization to work for any employer in the U.S.
  • Ability to comply with confidentiality and privacy policies
  • Willingness to work in a non-exempt hourly role

  • Strong skills in Cvent, SFDC, Marketo, Wrike preferred
  • CMP or CTSM credentials preferred
  • Ability to travel

Job Duties

  • Manage events for Q2 including, but not limited to hosted events and conferences and industry trade shows
  • Deliver an engaging and thoughtful customer experience at all events
  • Manage all event coordination including day-to-day administration, speaker, venue, vendor communication, and cross-departmental collaboration
  • Clearly communicate objectives, project status and updates to stakeholders on a regular and consistent basis
  • Serve as core team planning member for annual client conference
  • Develop detailed project plans to monitor and track progress of assigned events
  • Negotiate and manage vendor contracts related to assigned events
  • Assist department in meeting business objectives for lead generation
  • Responsible for ensuring that all security, availability, confidentiality and privacy policies and controls are adhered to
  • Other duties as assigned
