Job Requirements
- bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- at least one year of experience in event planning
- prior experience with trade shows preferred
- ability to work under pressure with changing priorities
- strong communication skills at all organizational levels
- proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
- willingness to travel up to 50 percent
- ability to lift up to 25 pounds
- capacity to work in office and warehouse environments
- ability to use standard office equipment
- adherence to quality management systems and company procedures
Job Qualifications
- bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- minimum of one year of event planning experience
- prior trade show experience strongly preferred
- ability to work in fast-paced environments with multiple priorities
- strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
- excellent written and verbal communication including presentation skills
- strong organizational and planning abilities
- detail-oriented with excellent follow-up skills
- budget management experience
- proficient in Microsoft Office including advanced Excel skills
Job Duties
- assist in the coordination of logistics for conferences and external events including trade shows and customer events
- communicate and maintain timelines and priorities for projects and events
- assist with management of on-site conference logistics such as equipment catering requirements and room bookings
- assist with creating project timelines plans and concepts covering all aspects of event production
- prepare event briefing materials and post-event debriefs
- schedule planning calls with event sponsors under leadership guidance
- assist with design content and messaging for event and presentation materials ensuring brand consistency
- support event planning process via internal and external communications
- maintain and update conference database
- assist in collating marketing materials
- provide support for conference workshops and regional conferences
- travel to large scale conferences providing operational support from set up to dismantle
- maintain bannerstand and inventory of booth supplies
- ensure processing and distribution of show leads
- manage expenses for each event
- travel for site visits
- provide administrative support to the marketing team
- adhere to the company quality management system and regulatory standards
- ensure departmental compliance with quality procedures
- perform other work-related duties as assigned
