Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • MBA preferred
  • 5-7 years of sales and/or marketing experience preferably in beverage or consumer products industry
  • Must reside in McAllen or Harlingen, Texas
  • Must possess a valid driver's license
  • High level of company products and beer industry knowledge
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with distributors, top-level account decision makers, and internal stakeholders
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational and planning skills
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to work independently
  • Willingness to be flexible with schedule based on business needs

Job Duties

  • Developing plans and tailored playbooks for all channels against their local properties and events
  • Mobilizing brand planning
  • Sampling execution
  • Event and venue activations across territory
  • Ticket management
  • Resort / destination planning and execution (where applicable)
  • Working with Experiential Team to inform professional or Tier 1 sponsorships
  • Owning local event sponsorship negotiations and territory specific budget including rights fees and activation funds
  • Ensuring mobile asset requests are complete and aligned with brands/events
  • Supporting Venue CAPEX execution in their market with direction from CSO and visibility for On-Premise team
  • Working closely with top wholesalers where properties and activation budgets exist to ensure clarity of execution against plans
  • Supporting execution of On-Premise plans
  • Acting as BET Team Captain (where applicable)
  • Managing implementation of brand programming within the off-premise channel to deliver volume and share growth
  • Managing ROI for channel programs
  • Communicating results and priorities weekly/monthly
  • Coaching and mentoring Trade Activation Managers and wholesaler sales teams
  • Directing channel specific pilots and managing optimization of each channel's key levers
  • Cascading annual/trimester channel blueprints (initiatives and programs)
  • Tracking KPIs including channel volume, share, program execution, and distribution
