Job Duties
- Perform heavy cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing floors and disinfecting bathrooms
- Collect and dispose of trash
- Clean and restock restrooms
- Wash windows, glass partitions and mirrors using soapy water and cleaning products
- Dust furniture, walls, machines and equipment
- Mix water and chemical products in containers to prepare cleaning solutions according to specifications
- Clean carpets using steam or shampoo and extractors
- Strip, seal, finish, and polish floors
- Operate motorized equipment including scrubbers and industrial vacuum cleaners
- Follow procedures for using chemical cleaners and electrical equipment to avoid damage to floors and fixtures
