Job Requirements

  • Must be a minimum 21 years of age
  • high school diploma or GED
  • 6 months to 1 year previous food service experience desired
  • must be flexible and able to respond quickly and resourcefully to issues
  • food handlers card required within 30 days of hire
  • ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 25 pounds
  • ability to work indoors and outdoors as needed
  • must comply with company dress code including black pants and non-slip soled closed toed shoes
  • ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
  • must have a positive attitude and neat appearance
  • must be energetic and self-disciplined

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 6 months to 1 year previous food service experience desired
  • working knowledge of food production techniques, purchasing, and sanitation procedures
  • excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • ability to communicate effectively with staff and vendors

Job Duties

  • Prepare and serve hot and/or cold food items according to company standards
  • maintain, organize, and clean all equipment
  • properly measure and portion food items in a timely manner
  • package products to proper specifications
  • perform opening, closing, and side work duties as instructed
  • keep workstation and equipment clean, organized, sanitized, and sufficiently stocked
  • use waste control guidelines and record all waste on spoilage sheet
  • adhere to company dress code including wearing black pants and non-slip-soled closed-toe shoes
  • comply with quality standards, policies, and procedures
  • understand and maintain proper sanitation and food safety
  • perform other duties as assigned
