Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in housekeeping or related hospitality field preferred
- strong communication skills
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- must be trustworthy and capable of handling sensitive information
- availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or a related field preferred
- supervisory and/or leadership experience is desirable
- strong attention to detail
- ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members verbally or in written form
- ability to convey information and ideas clearly
- ability to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately
- ability to work well in stressful, high pressure situations
Job Duties
- Approach all encounters with guests and employees in a friendly, service-oriented manner
- maintain regular attendance in compliance with Aimbridge Hospitality standards as required by scheduling
- maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, including wearing the proper uniform and name tag per brand standards
- comply at all times with Aimbridge Hospitality standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel operations
- thoroughly clean and restock the required number of guest rooms per shift
- complete all pre-cleaning duties, including guest supplies, cleaning supplies, and linen for housekeeping cart set-up
- remove all trash and dirty linen from guest rooms
- may assist with inspecting rooms and providing oversight of room attendant duties as requested
- perform other tasks or jobs as assigned by the supervisor or manager
- access to back of house areas of the hotel and sensitive information
- interact and occasionally have unsupervised contact with guests and colleagues
- access and control to sensitive areas in the hotel premises, including master keys and guestrooms, storage/liquor room, and secured file cabinets
- maintain a high level of trust and responsibility
- represent the company with a certain level of reputation and good character as well as exercise sound judgement
