Job Requirements

  • High school diploma required
  • Associate's degree preferred
  • Minimum 3 years experience working in customer service
  • At least 1 year experience directing others
  • Experience working in airline industry preferred
  • 3 years dispatching truck drivers
  • Basic computer skills
  • Able to drive on the ramp
  • Able to multi-task in a dynamic customer environment
  • Detail oriented
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Able to keep calm in high pressure environment
  • Able to work with minimum supervision
  • Able to make independent decisions
  • Able to compile data accurately

Job Duties

  • Analyze data from custom computer screens and proactively communicate airline changes and updates to unit dispatch and catering teams
  • Monitor airline arrival and departure times and ensure catering teams complete flights as assigned
  • Monitor driver kitchen department time and alert unit management when on-time departure is at risk
  • Monitor international strips via Prism camera and provide operation updates to SOC
  • Make operational decisions and communicate directly to transportation teams on the field
  • Partner with department manager to research and discuss delays with airline customers
  • Track all flight, gate, meal order, and other changes in flights
  • Serve as back up supervisor by relaying changes and directing workflow on the ramp
  • Check driver run sheets for accuracy and compliance with customer specifications
  • Answer and log customer calls, concerns, and complaints and recommend resolutions
