Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-3 years experience of fueling operations preferred
  • Prior airline experience desirable
  • Valid driver's license
  • Strong communication skills
  • Computer literate or ability to learn Sabre and Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Ability to read and interpret operational documents
  • Ability to write reports and communicate effectively
  • Must adhere to company uniform and conduct codes

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma and at least one-year certificate from a university, college, or technical school, or six-months to one-year related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 1-3 years' experience in fueling operations preferred
  • Prior airline experience desirable
  • Valid driver's license
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Computer literacy including or ability to learn Sabre and Microsoft applications such as PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
  • Ability to work in inclement weather
  • Ability to read and interpret safety, operational, and procedural manuals
  • Ability to write clear, concise reports and correspondence
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups including airline customers, fueling personnel, and airport authority

Job Duties

  • Maintain good situational awareness of all airline and company fueling operations, policies, and procedures and provide continuous dissemination of pertinent operational information and timely updates to appropriate field leadership and fueling personnel
  • Maintain professional contact and operational coordination dialogue with airline(s), airport operations, flight control, and fueling department while adhering to company uniform, dress, and conduct codes
  • Assist with the development of operational and contingency plans for optimal use of company equipment and resources in support of airline schedules
  • Coordinate and communicate operational problem-solving options and plans with company managers, supervisors, and airline personnel
  • Monitor available technological systems including flight status monitors, weather, and air traffic control advisories, and evaluate their impact to recommend operational plans
  • Maintain appropriate logs and documentation for anticipation of problem situations, post-event evaluation, and accurate reporting
  • Complete daily shift reports on flight irregularities or delays and fueling delay recaps to discuss with airline operations
  • Coordinate emergency and significant event notifications ensuring that appropriate company and airline regulatory officials are notified and document accordingly
  • Assist in ramp and fueling operations as needed, which may be physical in nature
