Job Requirements

  • 1 to 3 years experience in fueling operations preferred
  • Prior airline experience desirable
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to work in inclement weather

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma
  • At least one-year certificate from university, college or technical school or six months to one year related experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Computer literacy with ability to learn Sabre and Microsoft applications such as PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
  • Ability to read and interpret safety, operational, and procedural documents
  • Ability to write clear and concise reports and correspondence
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups

Job Duties

  • Maintain good situational awareness of fueling operations, policies, and procedures and provide timely updates to leadership and fueling personnel
  • Maintain professional contact and coordination with airlines, airport operations, flight control, and fueling departments
  • Assist in developing operational and contingency plans for optimal utilization of company equipment and resources
  • Coordinate and communicate problem-solving options with company managers and airline personnel
  • Monitor technological systems such as Flight Status Monitor and Air Traffic Control advisories and evaluate their impact on operations
  • Maintain appropriate logs and documentation for problem anticipation and event evaluation, including shift reports and fueling delay recaps
  • Coordinate the implementation of emergency and significant event notification systems, ensuring appropriate regulatory officials are informed
  • Assist in physical ramp and fueling operations as required
