Job Requirements

  • Proven experience in a culinary role
  • Full availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical kitchen tasks
  • Strong work ethic and reliability
  • Willingness to learn and adapt
  • Ability to follow instructions carefully and maintain cleanliness

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a line cook in a hotel or standalone restaurant
  • Knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques
  • Ability to follow recipes and maintain high culinary standards
  • Strong understanding of health and safety regulations
  • Experience in supervising or training kitchen staff is preferred
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills
  • Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

  • Assist the Executive Chef in overseeing activities of cooks and kitchen personnel
  • Monitor team performance, product quality, and production flow
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness standards
  • Train, supervise, schedule, and assist in evaluating kitchen staff
  • Prepare food items according to recipes and established standards
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen work environment
  • Support continuous improvement in kitchen operations and guest satisfaction
