Job Requirements

  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs occasionally and 20 lbs frequently
  • Comfortable working in hot and cold environments
  • Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and extended hours as required
  • Follow company standards regarding uniform, grooming, and behavior
  • Attend all required meetings and trainings
  • Comply with proper time clock and attendance standards
  • Follow all safety, sanitation, and health regulations
  • Successfully pass a monthly quiz on menu knowledge, ingredients, techniques, and tools

Job Qualifications

  • Proven experience in culinary operations
  • Knowledge of food preparation techniques and safety standards
  • Ability to work various kitchen stations
  • Strong attention to detail and quality
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • Prepare all food items across various kitchen stations including hot line, cold prep, grill, fry, sauté
  • Maintain the highest standards of food quality, presentation, cleanliness, and safety
  • Assist in inventory management and ordering
  • Execute station prep, mise en place, and food production for restaurant outlets and banquets
  • Adhere to all safety, sanitation, and health regulations including NYC Health Department standards
  • Participate in cleaning and maintenance of kitchen equipment and workstations
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and efficient food service
