Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- minimum of 2 years experience in professional culinary setting preferably hotel or banquet environment
- ability to stand for extended periods
- able to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs occasionally and 20 lbs frequently
- comfortable working in variable temperatures
- flexibility to work nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hours
- follow all safety, sanitation, and health regulations including DOH requirements
- attend all required meetings and trainings
- comply with uniform, grooming, and behavior standards
- practice guest first mentality
- maintain professionalism and communication skills
- report equipment issues and safety hazards promptly
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred

- beneficial but not required to have SERV Safe certification or valid New York Food Handler's License
- ability to stand for entire shift
- capable of lifting up to 50 lbs occasionally and 20 lbs frequently

- flexibility to work nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hours
Job Duties
- prepare all food items across various kitchen stations including hot, cold, grill, fry, and sauté
- maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, cleanliness, and safety
- assist in inventory management and ordering
- execute station prep, mise en place, and food production for restaurant outlets
- recognize quality and freshness of food items
- prepare buffet displays, breakfast pastries, fruit cutting, and sauces
- maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen environment according to health regulations
