Job Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs occasionally and 20 lbs frequently
- Comfortable working in hot and cold environments
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and extended hours
- Must adhere to company uniform, grooming, and behavior standards
- Attend all required meetings and training
- Comply with proper time clock and attendance standards
- Follow all safety, sanitation, and health regulations including DOH requirements
- Able to achieve minimum 70 percent on monthly culinary knowledge quiz
- Maintain friendly, professional, and service-oriented demeanor
- Multitask and prioritize duties to meet service timelines

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Minimum 2 years experience in a professional culinary setting preferably in hotel or banquet environment
- Knowledge of standardized recipes and culinary techniques
- Ability to work across various kitchen stations
- Strong commitment to sanitation and safety standards
- Effective communication skills
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, holidays, and long hours
- Serv Safe certification or valid New York Food Handler's License beneficial but not required
Job Duties
- Prepare food items across multiple kitchen stations including hot, cold, grill, fry, sauté
- Maintain highest standards of food quality, presentation, cleanliness, and safety
- Assist in inventory management and ordering
- Execute station prep, mise en place, and food production for restaurant outlets
- Prepare buffet displays, breakfast pastries, fruit cutting, and sauces as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen according to NYC Health Department standards
- Communicate low stock levels and report equipment issues promptly
