Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of experience in event coordination within a golf or country club setting
- Ability to manage multiple events and deadlines simultaneously
- Ability to negotiate contracts and manage vendor relationships
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, golf tournament software, and social media platforms
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and sensitive employee matters
- Flexibility to work additional hours including weekends and holidays as needed
- Physical ability to work outdoors in extreme temperatures and perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 100 lbs
- Adherence to attendance requirements and company policies
- Commitment to professionalism and safe working practices

- Ability to collaborate effectively with regional and corporate teams
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of event coordination experience within a golf or country club setting
- Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management, Event Planning, Hospitality, or related field preferred
- Ability to manage multiple events and deadlines simultaneously
- Skilled in contract negotiation and vendor relationship management
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, golf tournament software, and social media platforms
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and sensitive employee matters
Job Duties
- Oversee planning of golf tournaments, including member tournaments, charity events, and corporate outings
- Develop detailed event timelines covering registration and staffing
- Communicate with participants regarding event schedules, rules, and instructions
- Work with Head Golf Professional to create tournament formats, pairings, and scorekeeping systems
- Serve as primary contact for participant questions and special requests
- Ensure high member/guest satisfaction throughout events
- Collaborate with marketing team to promote tournaments via newsletters, social media, and other channels
- Assist in creating promotional materials such as flyers, email announcements, and brochures
- Oversee post-event clean-up and inventory management
- Conduct post-event reviews to identify improvements
- Compile and distribute tournament results and reports
- Coordinate with vendors for services including catering, trophies, signage, and entertainment
- Work closely with golf operations, club staff, and grounds maintenance to ensure event success
- Create and manage tournament budgets including revenue, expenses, and participant fees
- Ensure accurate and timely invoice processing
