SanTan Brewing Company is a well-established craft brewery and restaurant located in Chandler, Arizona, a vibrant part of the Phoenix metro’s East Valley. Founded in 2007 in downtown Chandler, SanTan Brewing Company has grown steadily while maintaining its original 15-barrel brewery and restaurant operation. Job Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Ability to work weekends, night events, and holidays regularly
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize well with outstanding organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work well with others and be a team player
- Flexibility, patience, and open-mindedness
- Must have excellent communication skills both verbal and non-verbal
- Enthusiastic, energetic, and willing to pitch in where needed
- Familiarity with POS systems, Toast POS experience a plus
- Ability to stand for long periods, lift and move products
- Experience in brewery, distillery, or restaurant serving/bartending considered a plus
- Ability to work in loud, hot, humid, or wet/slippery environments
- Capability to bend, kneel, climb ladders and stairs, and perform other physical tasks
- Ability to regularly lift/carry heavy objects up to 55 lbs and occasionally move heavier loads with equipment
Job Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience as a tour guide, public speaker, bartender, server, or food/beverage related brand ambassador
- Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills
- Strong customer service passion
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively
- Comfortable using POS systems, preferably Toast POS
- Experience in brewery, distillery, or restaurant serving/bartending is a plus
- Outgoing personality and strong team player
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Flexibility and patience
- Energetic and willing to help wherever needed
Job Duties
- Uphold company values, abide by company policies, procedures and promote a safe, positive work environment at all times
- Maintain a high level of floor awareness during shift to support coworkers effectively
- Follow all required safety and standard operating procedures
- Request real-time help from supervisors or managers when needed
- Communicate and treat fellow co-workers with respect
- Adhere to a safety always mindset and comply with safety policies and programs
- Approach every task with quality and attention to detail
- Continuously engage and communicate with customers regarding products and positively represent the brand
- Generate excitement, brand awareness and increase product sales through sampling and promotions
- Conduct guided tours of the brewery and distillery while keeping scripts updated
- Prepare and serve samples of beer and spirits
- Assist bartender with processing sales of merchandise, tour tickets, beers, and spirits for tour groups
- Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions and policies regarding payments and exchanges
- Clean shelves, counters, and tables in the tasting room
- Perform inventory stock counts and replenish stock as needed
- Mop and sweep floors
- Clean public bathrooms
- Participate in supplemental shifts bartending and serving at taproom and special events
