Job Requirements

  • bachelor's degree in human resources or related field
  • minimum 5 years of experience in human resources focusing on benefits and employee engagement
  • thorough understanding of benefits plans and leave laws
  • experience with HRIS and benefits software
  • strong organizational skills
  • excellent problem-solving abilities
  • high level of professionalism and confidentiality
  • ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams

Job Qualifications

  • bachelor's degree in human resources or related field
  • proven experience in benefits administration and leave management
  • strong knowledge of state and federal regulatory requirements
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to lead and develop HR teams
  • proficiency with HRIS and benefits administration systems
  • demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and events
  • experience collaborating with external vendors and carriers

Job Duties

  • redesign hospitality experience promoting company values
  • engage and develop benefits and engagement team
  • oversee training and process evaluations
  • administer all team member benefit programs including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, 401(k), COBRA, and flexible spending accounts
  • process enrollments and life events promptly
  • conduct monthly audits of 401(k) and hardship withdrawals
  • provide benefit counseling and resolve claims issues
  • liaise with carriers and consultants on eligibility and claims
  • process court orders and beneficiary claims
  • manage leave administration ensuring compliance and communication
  • counsel management on leave processes
  • coordinate communication plans for annual enrollment
  • plan and execute open enrollment
  • streamline benefits and leave processes
  • create and manage annual calendar of team member events
  • coordinate onsite and offsite events and wellness fairs
  • identify and manage community outreach collaborations
  • collaborate with PR on community initiatives
  • manage team member recognition programs and evaluate their effectiveness annually
  • manage contests, clubs, raffles, and reward giveaway programs
