Job Requirements

  • High school diploma preferred
  • one year of retail or related experience preferred
  • ability to read, write, comprehend and interpret documents
  • basic mathematical skills
  • detail oriented
  • ability to lift and/or move up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally
  • ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • ability to bend, stoop, twist and turn frequently
  • capable of working in varied temperatures and exposed to outside weather conditions

Job Qualifications

  • familiarity with bakery products and merchandising

Job Duties

  • Bake and fry bakery products according to production schedule
  • price, date, wrap and/or bag bakery products
  • fill, rotate and merchandise bakery shelves, cases and displays
  • notify Bakery Manager if products and supplies need ordering
  • assist in receiving, unloading and stocking merchandise
  • handle spoiled or damaged products per guidelines
  • maintain a clean, attractive and well-stocked department
  • follow all PPE and safety guidelines
  • adhere to food safety and cleaning expectations
  • follow guest experience guidelines
  • perform tasks in other departments as assigned
  • complete additional responsibilities as needed
