Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in a similar food production role preferred
- ability to stand for extended periods
- good physical stamina
- willingness to adhere to strict cleanliness protocols
- ability to work flexible hours including possible weekends
- basic English communication skills
Job Qualifications
- experience in food preparation or tortilla making
- knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
- ability to follow recipes and production guidelines
- basic understanding of machinery used in tortilla production
- good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination

- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Job Duties
- stock and maintain tortilla food area
- mix and measure ingredients for quality of corn and flour products prepared daily
- prepare flour or corn dough/masa recipes for tortillas
- roll and shape tortillas
- use tortilla mixers and belt to feed dough/masa to make tortillas
- hand wrap and package quality corn or flour tortillas
- check the appearance and quality of tortillas
- check bags to make sure the proper packaging is being used
- inspect tortillas to ensure they are free of foreign materials or contamination
- review tortilla orders and request for accuracy
- clean tortilla work area including sweeping, mopping, and cleaning equipment
- place final packaged tortillas in coolers for delivery
