Job Requirements

  • Preferably high school diploma or GED or higher education
  • 1 plus years of experience in high-paced kitchen environments preferred
  • knowledge of various cooking ingredients preferred
  • must know how to clean, sharpen, and maintain kitchen knives
  • familiarity with authentic Korean food flavors preferred

Job Duties

  • Establish stations and gather all necessary supplies to prepare for service
  • prepare a variety of foods including multiple side dishes
  • prepare sauces and side dishes
  • cover, label, date, and properly store all food according to safe food handling procedures
  • inform the chef in advance of potential shortages
  • verify plating, temperature, and portions of all dishes
  • sterilize kitchen equipment at the end of the shift
  • monitor stock and place orders as necessary
  • set up disinfectant buckets and towels for the station
  • perform temperature checks for all refrigerators
  • place rubber mats at the station
  • conduct tastings with team members
  • disinfect preparation surfaces
  • sweep and mop designated areas
  • sweep and mop walk-in cooler and dry storage areas
  • ensure all products are properly labeled in the cold room
  • other assigned duties
