Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience as a bartender or similar role preferred
  • Knowledge of drink recipes and cocktail techniques
  • Certification in responsible alcohol service preferred but not required
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Prepare and serve cocktails, mixed drinks, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic beverages to guests according to recipes and quality standards
  • Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner, take drink orders, provide recommendations
  • Ensure all beverages are made and served quickly, maintaining high standards of quality, presentation, and taste
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and stocked bar area including glassware, garnishes, and ingredients
  • Engage guests to create a welcoming atmosphere, handle requests and questions regarding drinks and menu
  • Upsell drinks or food items and promote specials to increase sales
  • Monitor guests' alcohol consumption ensuring responsible service and a safe environment
  • Address guest complaints professionally and escalate if necessary
  • Ensure cleanliness and hygiene of bar tools, glassware, equipment, and surfaces
  • Replenish bar stock and assist with inventory management
  • Track bar inventory and assist with ordering and restocking supplies
  • Work collaboratively with bartenders, servers, and kitchen staff to ensure service efficiency
  • Assist in bar setup and closing, ensuring equipment is stored and clean
  • Help train new bartenders and barbacks on recipes and procedures
  • Process payments accurately, including handling cash, cards, and tips
  • Maintain proper cash drawer and tab closing procedures
