Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in manufacturing or production preferred
- Ability to stand for 8-10 hours
- Able to lift up to 120 pounds
- Basic math skills including fractions
- Ability to read blueprints
- Strong communication skills
- Dependable attendance
- Ability to operate hand tools and hysters
- Willingness to work overtime, including weekends and holidays
- Adaptability to shift changes
- Ability to follow safety protocols
- Ability to work without constant supervision
Job Qualifications
- Must speak, write, and read English to interpret blueprints and provide notes as necessary
- Must be detailed oriented and self-disciplined
- Must display an attitude of cooperation and the ability to work well with others
- Must be able to read a tape measure to a tolerance of 1/32 inch
- Must be proficient in basic math including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division of fractions
- Must have good attendance and be open minded
- Position requires integrity in performance of assigned tasks
- Ability to read and follow directions accurately
- Able to understand ratios to ensure correct mixing of resin solutions
- Ability to perform basic metal cutting and welding as necessary
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with constant change
- Problem solves and acts fast to eliminate downtime
- Patience with coworkers, leads, supervisors, and managers
- Work overtime including weekends and holidays
- Work effectively with frequent interruptions in a team environment as a team player
Job Duties
- Finishes, repairs, maintains, prepares, waxes all tooling correctly and defect free in time to deliver to production on time every time
- Immediately notifies leads and supervisors of any issues that would prevent product from being delivered on time
- Participates and contributes to an environment where continuous improvement is valued and developed
- Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with coworkers, supervisors, and managers
- Mindful of all aspects of waste, time, materials, and production supplies
- Mindful of safety in all aspects of work and takes steps to minimize risks to self and others
- Performs other duties as assigned or needed
