Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in tool room or tooling support
  • ability to operate mechanical and manual material handling equipment
  • knowledge of safety procedures and regulations
  • basic technical aptitude
  • ability to follow detailed instructions
  • physical capability to handle tool management tasks safely and efficiently

Job Duties

  • support maintenance tooling analyst and central tooling with tooling needs
  • ensure the tool room is clean and well organized
  • maintain a tool crib on assigned shift independently
  • issue and receive tooling using the tooling management system
  • ensure data accuracy and compliance processes with pmet and revision-controlled tooling
  • validate tool and kit upon issuing and receiving
  • order stock and support line base osr and central tooling initiated shipping including webvision
  • assist in in-sourcing tooling needs
  • perform minor tool repair cutting material and proper binning
  • operate mechanical and manual material handling equipment and company vehicles safely
  • practice safety-conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures
  • assist and support the tool analysts and central tooling with leadership collaboration
