Job Requirements
- Must be able to read and write English and comprehend and apply information from technical manuals
- Must possess basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic disciplines as they apply to aircraft systems
- Must achieve satisfactory score on mechanical aptitude test
- Must meet physical requirements including ability to lift at least 70 pounds
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Possess a high school diploma, GED, or equivalency
- Be at least 18 years of age and have authorization to work in the United States
- Prioritize safety and security of self, others, and data
- Embrace diverse people, thinking, and styles
- Willingness to work rotating or fixed shifts including weekends and holidays
- If transferring internally, must be performing satisfactorily in current position
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic disciplines
- Ability to read and comprehend technical manuals
- Mechanical aptitude demonstrated by satisfactory test scores
- Knowledge of tool servicing and repair practices
- Experience with aircraft tooling or related technical training preferred
- Ability to interpret technical documents such as AAs, SBs, AMMs, CMs, EMs, and wiring diagrams preferred
Job Duties
- Maintains equipment and tooling including disassembly, cleaning, repair, assembly, inspection, calibration, and testing
- Handles tool servicing, cutting, and repairs
- Ships tools and manages tool inventory
- Collaborates with Aircraft Maintenance Technicians to assist in tooling requirements
- Supports tooling movement for both Delta operations and MRO
- Practices safety-conscious behaviors in all operational procedures
- Maintains a clean, organized, and safe work environment
