Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proficient with Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and various web-based applications
- Experience with hand tools and maintaining an inventory
- Customer service experience preferred
- Pushes, pulls, lifts, carries up to 50 pounds without assistance
- Physical ability to squat, twist, turn, bend, stoop, climb, and reach overhead
- Ability to adhere to personal protective equipment (PPE) policy and maintain individual PPE in a functional condition

Job Duties
- Communicates and supports the Kirby Smith vision and core values of One Mission, One Team, One Plan, One Goal
- Prepares and maintains periodic inventory of tools and equipment, manually and using computer
- Receives, unpacks, and stores tools and equipment and requisition stock to replenish inventory
- Delivers tools or equipment to workers, manually or using a hand truck occasionally
- Marks and identifies tools and equipment using an identification tag, stamp, or electric marking tool
- Ensures issued tools are in good working condition and that defective tools are surveyed and disposed of in accordance with established procedures
- Maintains files and reports of lost, broken, and discarded tools and monitors for accuracy, frequency, and search efforts
- Maintains and repairs minor deficiencies on shop tools
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned
- Ensures consistent and reliable on-site attendance
